Flower and Tree Planting
Do you know the fastest way to bring a bloom of life to any property – large or small, residential or commercial? Planting flowers and trees. It literally brings a new flush of life to any space, and naturally softens the look of any architecture, making it feel more natural, friendly, and livable. Even tired old yards and neglected corners of open spaces will spring to life with color and luscious foliage that can be carefully selected to thrive in that particular environment for year-long good looks. So call on the pros to have your areas assessed before we draw up a planting plan for the most fantastic greenscapes to transform your property.
Terrain Assessment Just planting something because it looks nice will work for a short time before greenery starts to die off or roots interfere with other living things and utility cables so that's definitely not recommended. Instead we perform a full assessment of the location, the exposure, the gradients, the drainage and water run-off issues. All of these will affect the suitability of certain plants for planting based on the way they lay down roots. Trees in particular have to be carefully thought through to ensure that your beautiful healthy tree doesn't start gently undermining nearby structures or interfering with a cables and pipes. But we also have to assess rainfall and soil type including friability and pH because these are the keys to successful plant growth. Once we've done all that we will make our recommendations for the best species in the best locations around your property. Tree Planting Tree planting is half science, half art. The art side comes in when deciding how trees will look and change the look of your property. We have catalogs to help with that. The science side comes with the soil analysis and a survey of any potential root obstructions to ensure that the tree will grow healthily but not interfere with other trees or any structures when it does. Shrub Planting There are beautiful shrubs we can bring to your yard including the azalea and juniper families, Japanese ferns, boxwood and so many more but before we plant shrubs we first draw up a planting plan including room for them to grow without crowding other plants and we analyze the soil for you. The soil analysis means we are only suggesting shrubs that are likely to be healthy and hardy which reduces the maintenance issues later on. In fact if maintenance is your priority we can even draw up a complete planting plan designed around minimal maintenance. Seasonal Replants While we aim to install plants that will thrive throughout the year you may also want seasonal replants. Most customers do this for flowering plants because they either want a near continuous bloom on their property or there are special times of the year that they want seasonal flowers for. No problem, talk to us about what you have in mind and we will arrive on the day you want to plant your new growth. |
